This is a loooooong shot. I have finally managed to lose the ticket stub I've kept these past three dacades from the Bath Blues Festival 1970. Any chance there's another old git out there who has a list of bands that played that year?

Is that the Led Zep, Santana, Mothers, Keef Hartley, Johnny Winter one? Or was that the year after?

I went to that also. Although I don't think I was all there there at the time, as I can't remember any more of the bands that played.

I do remember wearing a grey top-hat and ripping my prized red velvert trouser on a barbed-wire fence- and rain.........

Me too, and the year before when it was a lot smaller and situated in Bath itself. 1970 also had The Byrds, Country Joe McDonald, Jon Hiseman's Colosseum (sp?), Pink Floyd and Donovan (who just turned up, unbooked).I'm sure there were a lot more, but the memory's going!
