Back in the late 70's or early 80's, a friend used to sing a song with a refrain that went something like:

"Chip Me Some More of that Sodium Chloride, or you'll get sent outside.
It's a hundred and twenty below, and you'll freeze in a minute or so,
So, chip me some more of that sodium chloride..."

I don't know the name of the song, or any more of the lyrics, but I'd like to.
