Here's your chance to see your favourite songs from the Digital Tradition appear in as high quality sheer music on-line.

I'm working on a small project to put 200 PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files on a web-site in order to test the overall concept of perhaps putting the whole DT there at some stage in the future. Nothing fancy, just click on the name of the song, view it and then press the print button. No MIDIs, no transposition - just good quality printable shhet music.

I have a large number of techie things to do first, but if you would like to nominate any number of songs for inclusion, that would save me the job of acting as editor. It would in fact be a 'Mudcatters' Most Popular' selection. I would hope to have this up in July - barring techie problems.

Just a few ground rules please:

- Please nominate only in this thread - Please use the exact name and version of the song as it appears in the Digital Tradition - Only songs where the tune is in the DT. For this version that would exclude Mudcat MIDIs - Please preface your nomination with 3 asterisks and use a new line for each, eg

*** Waltzing Matilda

*** Click Go The Shears

That's all. I'd be very grateful for nominations over the next weeks.

PS I don't mind if you repeat previous nominations. I'll simply pull the titles into a database and delete the duplicates.

PPS I probably lack the temperament to do a good job of longer term maintenance of this site, so if someone else with better housekeeping skills would like to volunteer, I'd be delighted.
