Subject: RE: New website - English trad. music From: GUEST Date: 16 May 02 - 06:40 PM I'm sorry to say this, but i think your site is rather poor. 'Frames' are a really bad idea. Decent sites lost them years ago. The image files are bigger than they need to be. The 'menu' is confusing, and unintuitive. Having a page that says "Page Under Construction" comes across as being very amateur. If you haven't written the page, ,b>don't link to it Apart from that, I think you are wonderful, sexy and talented people |

Subject: RE: New website - English trad. music From: Lonesome EJ Date: 16 May 02 - 08:49 PM From: Lion aka Mrs. LEJ Regrettably, GUEST is a recurring problem with these websites. Thought that the Mudcat had a corner on GUEST market, seems I was wrong. Down with trolls! I prefer fairies. Good luck to the new website and all who sail in her. |
Subject: RE: New website - English trad. music From: Lynn Date: 16 May 02 - 09:52 PM If you're going to be so critical, GUEST, then please at least identify yourself. It's only fair to those whom you criticise. Wouldn't you want to know who wrote a bad review of your latest CD project? Give them the same courtesy, please. Lynn on a campaign against rudeness. |

Subject: RE: New website - English trad. music From: BB Date: 17 May 02 - 02:28 PM Thank you, George - I wish I knew how to create those blue clicky things! Lion & Lynn, thank you too - I wouldn't have minded if GUEST had identified him/herself. We can take constructive criticism. And thanks to those of you who complimented the site! Barbara |
Subject: RE: New website - English trad. music From: GUEST,Fred Date: 17 May 02 - 02:38 PM Ok, I'm called Fred, if that makes you feel better. Seriously, frames 'suck' as our American cousins might say. For more information, see my previous post. Everything I said was meant to be constructive help, and anyone who knows something about web design would agree with what I said. Sorry that my lack of 'name' clouds your view of my opinions. Welcome to the internet. Fred |
