If you are fans of this terrific artist who has a lot to say and sing about Southern History you might like to tune in this Sunday's (6/9/02) TRADITIONS program on WFDU (89.1 FM) Teaneck NJ. She will be my guest.

Kate will also be letting us hear a preview of her newest CD which features a wonderfull song--- "Joe Louis' Furniture". Not a dry eye in the house for this one.

I was remiss in not mentioning the title of her upcomning CD. MONUMENTS. It will be out, hopefully, in the late summer---- besides the Joe Louis Furniture piece the other music is, as always, a wonderful blend of great artistic creativity and imagination.

She talks of the CD---and a lot of other subjects.

A great person to find if you have not already done so---and if you have I am sure you will enjoy the visit with her.

I LOVE KATE CAMPBELL!! I have a bumper sticker on my car that says": Jesus and tomatoes coming soon! the henna designs on her hands on the album cover for her cd with that tune on it are beautiful. i understand she toured with greg brown once and he has a bumper sticker on his truck with the coming soon-jesus and tomatoes i wish she would come out west-- tell her to send a promo pack to the strawberyy music festival promoters at: p.o. box 565, Sonora CA, 95370 many of her tunes have been with me lately as both of my parents have died recently, and she has some wonderful funeral images in her work--"Sing me Home", "Funeral Food" and more....glad whe will be on your show-- will it be avaiable on the web so we can hear it way out here in CA?

It certainly will be streaming live on the web---3-6 PM Eastern Time.

All you have to do is click on the link listed above---and then on the website you will get it via Media Player after you click on the "On The Air" logo on our web page.
