Wow! That's a bargain and a half for that line-up and those classes! What I'd give to be there for the session with kytrad and also the class on classical and medieval music for dulcimer! Thanks for posting this, John.

What a line-up. dont know everybody, but I'd go just to see Jean, Pat D. and Christine, and sit in on some of the workshops. Where IS Conner Prairie Farm, John? And thanks for posting.

John kinda comes and goes, so I am posting on his behalf.

I combed through the website he provided to find the address. I HATE it when sites make their location hard to find out!

Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN 46038-4499

Thanks Susan! (and you're right, seems I goes more'n I comes 'round here -- but I saw Jean Ritchie on the bill and figgered there might be some Mudcat interest).

Hi Mudlark, (show season's started -- you know how that is!)

I really wish I'd put this info in the thread title -- there's not many Hoosiers here but for a line-up like this I'd think some buckeyes, woverines, illini, and kentucks would make the trip.

Conner Prarie is in North suburban Indianapolis
Hope you like the way I fixed the thread title, John.

Sigh...even for Jean Richie, Indiana is too far from Californy...thanks for the clarification, all.

Hard to believe that price! Shucks, I'd pay that much to hear just ONE of the performers - much less an entire line-up such as that! Incredible bargain.

Yeah Sandy,
I talked to Joel yesterday and he's just as tickled as can be to be sharing a bill with Jean Ritchie (the first person he mentioned when I said something about the great line-up).

Imagine, a concert and a workshop with Joel or Pat Donohue.

Oh, and I've got two free passes -- and no way to use 'em. I offered to put the flyers on my pottery booth at the Art Fair I have in Indy this weekend --they sent me the free passes with the flyers but I'll be stuck selling my pots all day!

Well, this weekend is sadly out of the quwstion, but you see...........I had planned on seeing Jean last weekend when she was ONLY 35 miles from my home!!! Quite unexpectedly though, I ended up being 250 miles away that day! I had been planning it for months and once again the best laid plans.................
