can anyone let me know where I can get the words of "Young in Kent" and "Trawlermen". I believe they are from a group called Elsie`s Band.

"Elsie's Band" are a group which formed at the sessions at "The Queen's Arms", Cowden Pound near Edenbridge, KENT. (2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of the month).

Here's the web site of Elsie's Band. The site says YOUNG IN KENT was written by band member John Hills, and it might be available on his?/their? CD "Nothing to Pay."

The site gives a phone number and an email address for ordering.

The site doesn't mention TRAWLERMEN.

Is it the John Connolly song you're thinking of- I think I've heard John Hills sing it... Elsie's Band are the guests at Nellies folk club in Tonbridge in March- always good to hear them do a full set
