Red-Eye ...could you PLEASE be more specific....what more information from the Roy Keane song can you provide.....Title, First Line, approximate year you heard it, where you heard it????

With this ambiguous a request...you could end up with the entire phone directory of Roy Keene songs.

Sincerely
Gargoyle

Hi, John - Gargoyle and I live on the west coast of the U.S. We may know who Dolores Keane is, but we've never heard of Roy Keane. A Google search led me to this article which gives me that the guy plays soccer in the UK and comes from Ireland, where people seem to prefer hurling. Didn't find a song, though. Oh, and this page says he was born in Cork in 1971, which means I'm old enough to be his father.
In
this message, Mick Bracken gives specific instructions for us not to start a "Who Is Roy Keane" thread, which probably is good advice.
But anyhow, can somebody post the lyrics of the Roy Keane song and give us U.S. left coasters a little background information?

Joe, it's easy. You just go back a few weeks to the thread "Ireland's World Cup Nightmare", which began with someone posting the lyrics to a funny song - the one Red Eye mentioned, I believe. The thread developed into a full blown analysis of Ireland's tactics, selection, prospects and eventual achievements. It all started out with that song!
