I don't have the CD nor lyrics, but judging from another sound clip this seems to be the one (from this page):

From Chapter 4, Uncle Tom's Cabin:
O I'm going to glory- won't you come along with me?
Don't you see the angels beck'ning and a calling me away?
Don't you see the golden city and the everlasting day?
(I haven't seen this one, of which this is a fragment, on any listing of spirituals)
A gospel song, "I'm Going To Glory," was recorded by the "Gospeleers, pre-1940, available on Document Records, DOCD 5553.
Neither one may be related to the Molly O'Brien song, but the titles express the same thought, that the singer is fixin' to go to glory.

The verse-

was used in a hymn called the Sunday School Army by John A Grenade who was perhaps the original 'tent revival' preacher. Around 1785 to 1805. The Sunday school army movement(medals for perfect attendance in SS.)was popular at the time but didn't originate with Grenade, who was known as the Wild Man from Goose Creek. I think he may have adapted the old hymn and it's melody from somewhere else, I'm not sure. We need to ask Jean Ritchie about this, if anybody, she would know.
