To whom it may concern

I'm writing from Glór Irish Music Centre in Ennis, Co. Clare. We're open since 30th November 2001 and we launched our Summer Programme 2002 on the 5th June. Would it be possible for you to add a link to our site, www.glor.ie, on mudcat.org? Our Summer Programme runs until 31st August 2002 and the line up includes artists such as The Josephine Marsh Band, Tim Dennehy, The Kilfenora, Tulla and Inis Óg Ceilí Bands, Thomond Pipers Club and many others (see the Listings section of our website). By the way, this is a temporary website, our full website will be launched in September 2002.

Since we opened our doors last November musicians such as Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, Dervish, Altan, Lúnasa, Sharon Shannon, Luka Bloom and many more have graced the stage at Glór.

We also have copies of the Summer Programme commemorative CD that I'd like to send to you - it provides a musical sample of the great musicians who will be playing here over the summer. Just email me your postal address if you wish to receive them. If you'd like to receive the press release which we issued 5th June which will give you background and ethos information on Glór let me know. I look forward to hearing from you Le dea ghuí Fiona

Fiona, links to folk music sites are always welcome at Mudcat and there are two ways to do it.

One is in a thread like this one announcing the website, and they can be posted by anyone, including site or organization folks, or Mudcatters who come across something they'd like to recommend.

The other is by using our LINKS section, open to members, and membership is free. The added benefit to joining Mudcat is that members can send you personal messages via the site, and this can be useful in a number of ways.

Here's a link to your website and a quote describing a bit about it--

Glór Irish Music Centre in Ennis, Co. Clare.

"Glór - Irish Music Centre presents a summer programme of themed nights featuring a range of local and national artists."

Best of luck, and welcome to Mudcat!

~Susan

Hi, Fiona - I couldn't figure out from Susan's message whether she posted your link on our Links Page or not. I checked, and I didn't see it. I added it for you.
As she says, any registered Mudcatter can add links to our links page.
