OK Q1 was indeed New York, for Engine 33(song by our very own InObu as far as I remember) via Engine 143(George Alley's, Carter family). Well solved, collective effort.As Noreen says, youve got to figure out the theme for yourself, but given that its beenpointed out that RB Quiz stood for Round Britain Quiz, I think you can work it out prettyeasy. Have a look at a chart and youll soon do them all. Never mind Canaan, we've got to Promised Land as part of the clue. And it is a musical quiz. And regarding tune, moonand croon. Well I see peoplehave been busy with the old computer searches, but Moonlight Bay and By the Light of the S M it aint. It's in the old Digitrad thing,but I dont know how good the index/search facilities are there. Remeber its on the way to Baltimore( you have to check the correct answersin this quiz, they may help you a lot to the next one. |

If you don't believe it, he'd tell you. A great old character if ever there was one. If you ever get a chance to see Say Amen, Someone!, do. It is a delightful documentary about Thomas Dorsey and the start of gospel music. He also wrote I Was Standing By The Bedside of a Neighbor. And also. the question says "he didnt start from here". Maybe somebody else did start from here, looking for the P L?? |
