Subject: RE: Lyr Req: The Moustache My Father Wore From: GUEST Date: 18 Sep 06 - 09:34 AM The guy who wrote was called Sean Tierney. Theres a CD of his songs avaible from The Scotia. He penned a fair amount of the material Billy Connelly used in the early 70s. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: The Moustache My Father Wore From: GUEST,Nell Date: 29 Jul 07 - 02:38 PM The song was written by Sean Tierney to the tune of The Sash My Father Wore, however it was recorded on a tribute CD by friends of Sean Tierney after he died. The CD is available from the Scotia Bar, Stockwell Street, Glasgow. I have the CD and there are other parodies, where he has written Glasgow words to popular tunes. |
