Subject: Train songs about Utah's Heber Creeper? From: katlaughing Date: 27 Jun 02 - 01:19 AM Has anyone ever heard any songs about what was supposed to be the slowest train in the nation? They featured it on a PBS program, Trains of the American West, tonight, and it just seems there ought to be some songs. It is in Utah and has been featured in quite a few tv productions according to their website: please click. For those not familiar with the name, Heber, it is pronounced with a "long e" as in Hee - burr. The old joke about it going to slow was that a young couple could get married on it, when they boarded it and by the time they reached the other end, they would have had their first child! Thanks, kat |
