Red Duster (Ron Baxter and Ross Campbell) are appearing at the Open Door, Bulls Head, Oldham Rd., Failsworth, Manchester on Sunday 14th July.

The centrepiece is one of their immaculately researched shows based around Lord Franklin and the quest for the North West Passage.

Ron and Ross have been heavily involved in a couple of well received productions dealing with the fishing industry: 'The Final Trawl' and 'It All Comes Out The Cod End'. Also, a great deal of material for The Scold's Bridle show: 'We Are the Women Left On the shore.'

The club kicks off at 8:45 and admission is £3...I know I'm going on a bit here but this is going to be good!!

Club website is: www.opendoorfolkclub.co.uk

All the best............Harry.

A rich seam. Especially if they extend it to include Landy Franklin's quest to find her husband.

An excellent evening it was! Very enjoyable and informative show, and lots of new songs from Ron- I'm looking forward to getting the recording when it comes out.

And a very friendly club too! Thanks for inviting them, Harry.

Noreen
