Subject: Recording Long Distance From: GUEST Date: 10 Jul 02 - 09:34 AM Over the years I have collaborated with a number of different musicians who now live in different areas. We've often talked about putting out a CD. My question - is it possible to record part of the tracks in one studio (say guitar and vocals) and then send these tracks to someone across the country, have them go into a studio, and add fiddle, whistle, etc.? For various reasons, it isn't possible to get everyone together to record in a studio, but we'd like to do the project together. What would be the best format for doing this? Anybody have experience with something like that? Thanks for the input. |
