22 July - Mick Pearce guesting at Herga. Mick has been a star of the Herga Folk Club for many years, but will soon be moving to North Notts (lucky North Notts!). He's very kindly agreed to do a guest night at Herga to remind us what we'll be missing.

Excellent News indeed - well done to Herga for hosting Mick's send-off to pastures new up the M1.

Mick really is a star & will be leaving us all bereft in this part of the world. Our sad loss but North Notts gain - hope he'll let us all know if he cuts a new CD.

All good wishes to Mick for his new life (& impending nuptuals), health, happiness & success!

Wouldn't miss this one for the world :-)

As I am in the very lucky position of hearing Mick practice on a daily basis, I can assure everyone that there are some real treats in store!

There's a map on the Herga website, but if you're coming from the north through Wealdstone you turn first left into Palmerston Road at the roundabout by Tann the builders, bear right at the barrier then left into Byron Road at the mini-roundabout, and then second left into Peel Road.

I keep missing you at Sidmouth (even though you're not normally inconspicuous).

Your haddock on a slab is fondly remembered, though I sometimes wondered how I'd feel if I was on a trolley at Northwick Park.

Just to thank Mick & Herga for an excellent evening hitting all the right notes in the farewell gathering last night!

Old favorites from Mick & some wonderful songs from the floor, with some exceptional voices in the choruses (what a fab voice the lady in the orange top has!).

Certainly a great club, a night to remember & a super send-off for Mick!

My Guru was the pretty lady sitting next to me with very long curly hair. Does that help identify her?

Incidentally, should you get a chance to hear her, she has a stunning, crystal clear voice with an incredible range. Well worth listening too.

Not only pretty and talented she is a thoroughly nice person too
