Mr happy, dave and i are up for spiffing weekends; have you been to this one before? it's not too far from us so we might head over for a one nighter on the saturday. is it in the town or at a venue where a ticket is needed? might see you there!

looks like we crossed threads twice then!!

there are tickets for pay events £12 all day sat.

based at rhuddlan community centre. also music & songs sessions in local pubs.

prices for camping at campsite.

well we're sorted!- only 4 more days to wait, then we're off to welsh wales, land of song! Rhudllan Folk Festival.

the proposed itinerary is, go to the 1st friday session at the Glan yr Afon inn, Pentre Halkyn, nr holywell [01928-723256], then camp the night there, continuing on to rhuddlan on the saturday.

anyone else going may like to know that the festival festivities kick off on the friday night at rhyl fc, costigan's pub, bodfor st, rhyl [by railway stn.]01745-353859]

I have been to all the Rhuddlan festivals and they are always great. Unfortunately I cannot make this one as I will be up in Scotland. Best wishes for a great fest.

look at map of north wales, find Rhyl on coast.

Rhuddlan is inland between rhyl & St Asaph on A525.

We're not going this year, partly because of distance and partly because we need a weekend off!

Good festival though, with lovely people who make you welcome. Hope Vicki does her weather work for you.

Next weekend Saltburn, followed by Whitby - ah, well!!

not really taxi- as it looks like a wet w/end we're going in frank's caravan. 'slong as we all get plenty wet on the inside too- wine, women, wild,wild whisky & snog!
