Subject: Irish immigration to America song From: wilco Date: 24 Jul 02 - 01:21 PM Somewhere, in the last few weeks, I heard a lovely song about the "thousands of young Irish women" immigating across the Atlantic ocean. I made a note, but misplaced it. Thanks!!!!! |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Irish immigration to America song From: Big John Date: 24 Jul 02 - 08:28 PM The only one that comes to mind is "Galway to Graceland", there's a line in that which says "They came in their thousands from the whole human race, to pay their respects at his last resting place". Thats unlikely to be your song but if it is you can find it in a Forum search using "Galway to Graceland". If you can submit a phrase from the song you require I'm sure some Mudcatter will have the answer. |
