I'm trying to find the lyrics to a song from the "Jesus People" days of the 1970's. The song starts: :last night I had a dream so real, I saw a blood dreanched battlefield." The chorus starts "lay down the weapons of your war, you will not need them anymore."

Anyone that can help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I was hangin' out with some of the "Jesus Freaks" back then as a young teen, and I don't recall it, but it does sound like something by one of the groups associated with the "Maranatha" bunch out in California. Especially one guy who wrote stuff like "Milk & Honey" & used to play guitar in a known rock group, & I can't remember which (maybe the who?) anymore cause I'm too old & senile! Anybody got any of that old stuff lying around from the "Maranatha" Church out in California back about the turn of the 70's? maybe you can look through some of that. You remember--those round, flat black things that were not tires--yeah--records, that's it.
