Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: MMario Date: 25 Jul 02 - 01:29 PM I am undergoing some serious pyrate-withdrawal symptoms here - despite playing CD's and tapes frequently. Labor Day cannot come quickly enough!!!!! |

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: GUEST,Ballyholme Date: 25 Jul 02 - 02:50 PM Well, I don't live too far from Lake Accotink but what's the name of your band? What kind of music do you play? And come to that, what genre of mayhem do you indulge in? |

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: Celtic Soul Date: 25 Jul 02 - 09:23 PM Ballyholme... Nautical music and British Isles folk tweeked with our own particular brand of irreverent humor is as good a description as any. We're serious enough about the music, but don't take much else very seriously (especially ourselves). The bands name is "The Pyrates Royale". We'll be in "Golden Age of Piracy" garb for this particular event. You can find out more about us at our website: www.pyrates.com You will also find a link there to Lake Accotink. They have a schedule for the entire summer concert series.

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: Celtic Soul Date: 26 Jul 02 - 06:57 PM Thanks, Skiv, for the quick notification. I was not able to update until it was too late. "Naturalist Camp"... Heh! :D This means, "clothing optional". Well, it might be optional for some, but my arse will be covered. Hope to "see" some of you out for that one. |

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: Wincing Devil Date: 28 Jul 02 - 01:10 AM No, C.S., I'll pass on the Avalon show. (You think I look funny in pirate rig...) |

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: Celtic Soul Date: 28 Jul 02 - 04:17 PM :::snort!::: Yeah, Vince...that's how I pretty much feel about *me* doing the nekkid thing. Hey, I gave birth and breast fed. I'll stick with wearing bodices and garb (you can hide a multitude of years with them) or plain old fashioned civies.

Subject: RE: D.C area Concert From: KathWestra Date: 29 Jul 02 - 01:51 PM We need Kendall now to chime in with a chorus of his hilarious song, "I Just Don't Look Good Naked Anymore..." Brings down the house everytime. You oughta e-mail him and learn it before your Avalon gig, CS. Cheers, Kathy |
