Help: harvested or not?

Why is it that sometimes there are songs which when you search for them in the forum have a thread that gives you the words and they have that little squiggle that I was told meant they'd been "harvested" but they don't appear in either the DT or in the Mudcat songbook? If they have been "harvested" where are they? This appears to happen quite frequently, the latest example I came accross is ROSA'S LOVELY DAUGHTERS by Rob Johnson. I know I'm not the most computer literate person but this seems odd to me, and I appreciate it if someone who knows can tell me why. Thanks Jude

Jude, the way the DT is set up, it can't be instantly updated. The songs are harvested and sent to Dick Greenhaus. Dick adds them to the DT and sends the completed version to Max, who puts it on Mudcat.

The 'current' DT is a few years old - ('99, isn't it?) so any songs harvested after that was finished wouldn't be in the DT, but would be available in the forum.

And if you want to find anything recent you have to use the Forum Search in the Quick Links pull down. SuperSearch won't find recent stuff.
