Subject: WALLY WOMBAT SHUFFLE From: rich-joy Date: 28 Jul 02 - 05:43 AM WALLY WOMBAT SHUFFLE Lisa Young, Banjo and Macka Smyth : as sung by Coco's Lunch I've got a friend called Wally Wombat But really Walter was his name He takes a walk each day about 3 o'clock And shuffles down my back lane. He does the : chorus : Wally Wombat Shuffle Even when it rains (He does the) Wally Wombat Shuffle Straight down my back lane. Well every day about five to three I get my binoculars out And I climb to the top of my favourite tree Cause that's the best lookout. To see : chorus When I was just about five years old I followed down his track and I went Two K's east and two K's west To his favourite underground shack. (Well) I opened the door and what do you think? Well he was having a bath in the kitchen sink I said : "Hey Wal, come groovin' with me We'll skip down the road with a 1 … 2 … 3 …" And do the : chorus ... A delightful little number that my groups, Raw Silk and Serafina, love doing and it appeals to kids of ALL ages in the audience!!! Cheers! RJB
