Subject: RE: Tune Req: so do i - christy moore From: Dave4Guild Date: 31 Jul 02 - 03:32 PM I believe it was written by Wally Page, Christy plays it in G, but that's a bit high for me so I use dropped D with the capo up a bit! Its a great song to sing, and goes down well with audiences, so it's worth persevering to get it right. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: so do i - christy moore From: My guru always said Date: 31 Jul 02 - 05:28 AM I heard it last year in Ireland & it's FAB. It got a lot of air-time in Eire, but when I came back to the UK, no-one had heard of it. Amazon ordered it for me in the end. It's actually called 'This is the Day' and that's the name of the album too. Good luck if you try to get it! |
