Subject: 'yes sir I'm a stranger here' From: Dagmar Date: 01 Aug 02 - 03:29 PM HI...apparently this is the first line of a song which a group sang in the early seventies... it goes "yes sir I ' am a stranger here I just rode(?) in your town.... no sir I don't expect to hang around...." later something in the song goes like " sheer survival on my mind "or so its about somebody being stopped by the police on the road or something and later in the song also Birmingham comes up. Can anyone help with name of titel andd name of group and possibly lyrics? Doing this for a friend and it would just blow her mind if I could find it...so PLEASE help me !! bye Dagmar
