i recommend going to festivals, concerts etc in your area and finding someone whose sound you like and ask 'em! certainly there are hoe downs, contra dances, fiddle contest, blyuegrass festivals etc in the Chi-town {that toddlin' town:-)}area

Well, stop by my place first to borrow some Hockey Gloves. That way it doesn't hurt nearly as much when Rick raps your knuckles. (Kidding, Rick has shown me a few things on the banjo, it's been exhausting, but I left there knowing a lot more than when I got there).
