There is a song that we sang in elementary school around 1966- 67 that was about a spanish cat. I believe the name was Delgato or Del Gato. I can remember part of the lyrics. "On a high red roof Delgato sat" And somewhere in the song. He would go Meow, meow, meow. He meets his new love. But falls off the roof and I think he actually dies in the end. Any help would be appreciated.
