Subject: RE: BS: what would you rather bee or a wasp? From: Bobert Date: 15 Aug 02 - 04:12 PM Well, up here in these hills there's nothin' quite so sacred as the, well, ahhhhh..... the possum. Not that I would really like to be one but, hey, Iz got a reputation to protect here and well, to be perfectly honest, I didn't want someone to claim that cute little ratty face critter for themself and leave my poor ol' boney Wes Ginny butt out in the cold having to come up with something like a lion, or tiger or bear fir, no not bear fur, that matter. But, if by chance, while I'm here in the process of staking my claim, some mean spirited person glabs the gold before me, then heck, I'll take the bee and like the song say's, I'll be a king bee and I'll be buzzin' round your hive.... And that is why, in times like these, There are so many sons-of-bees." so, I guess I best be a wasp, since that is my heritage, anyway....(fallen from grace...but...) |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you rather bee or a wasp? From: Celtic Soul Date: 15 Aug 02 - 08:21 PM Well, I'll tell you, it wouldn't be a bee or a wasp. As an avowed apaphobe and spheksophobe, I'd have to have been Hitler to deserve that fate. However, considering the life my cats live, I'd say I'd like that life. Sleep most of the day, play when I want, eat when I'm hungry, not give a damn about gaining weight or appearances, hack up a hair ball and not care overly much about what everyone else thinks. Yeah...sounds good to me. Maybe I'll do it sooner than next life, however. Maybe that's who I'll be when I retire. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you rather bee or a wasp? From: Bobert Date: 15 Aug 02 - 10:33 PM MMario: No, what's the deal. The possum allready taken by burth rite, or what??? Bobert |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you rather bee or a wasp? From: GUEST,Gurney Date: 16 Aug 02 - 07:16 AM I behave a bit like a bee, (industrious, hard-working, modest) but I'd rather be a wasp (agressive, sting without responsibility, all my mates come to avenge me). Wrong gender, though. Who'd be a domestic cat, with a responsible caring owner. "He'll be so much happier after the operation, and stay in at night." Gurney. |

Date: 16 Aug 02 - 12:56 PM And of course there was the hormonal guy that told God he wanted to come back as a "Stud": A friend who arrived in heaven later inquired as to where his buddy had been reincarnated - "Oh, he's on a snow tire in North Dakota" was God's reply ! (For those not in the US, studded tires are the ones with metal spikes embedded) |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you rather bee or a wasp? From: Bill D Date: 16 Aug 02 - 01:38 PM ...so, there's two bees flying along when one says, "I'm getting tired...let's fly down and rest on that sign at the Mobil station" "No, lets fly on a bit," says the other,"I can't be seen sitting there" "Oh?", asks the first, "Why not?" "Because," he replies, "I'm an Esso bee!" |
