Help: Searching by date

How do I search for an incidence of someone's name in the last month or two months, or whatever? I'm a little worried because I haven't heard from a couple of catters for a fortnight and didn't realise they were going away - but my search seems to bring up posts from the year 2000.

just put names in Filter box and set date parameters for 2 months

That only works for thread titles though.

once you've found anyones posting from any time, if you click on their name in any thread it will take you to a list of all their postings, with most recent first.

Mario's way is useful, but it won't find anything that was posted as a guest, whether you're a registered member or not. So: go to a thread anywhere, find the name (Guest, Bill Kennedy) for example and click on it. Or go to a thread that just contains a registered name, (Bill Kennedy) and you'll get a list of all the postings made that way. No way to get them both in one list.

actually Bill - you can search on who=Guest,Bill+Kennedy
