Help: 'BOOKMARKS' How do I use them?

I've been looking in here for the past 7 months or so and have never seen any reference to the "Bookmarks" section in the personal pages.
Can anyone tell me what it's for and how I would use it?
I'm sure it's incredibly obvious and I'm just being a dunce but I can't figure out what it does.

I don't know how this thread came with an "OBIT" prefix! I'm sure I clicked on "HELP"
Anyway I'm DYING to know the answer to the question so maybe it's appropriate!

well i've just now twiddled about with all the possible clikkie things on the personal pages. bookmarks is to do with links. if you go to the links index, you can then clik on bookmark. its like 'favourites' on main web page.

any help?

Use them to store links to places you might want to visit again, such as an index of Martin guitar models by year or a web site full of Serbian scottisches!
