Subject: Flos de radice Jesse From: Haruo Date: 31 Aug 02 - 04:06 PM Does anybody have (and, if so, will s/he be so kind as to share) a Latin text starting "Flos de radice Jesse" that is singable to the "Es ist ein' Ros'" tune? Haruo (Leland) - I've been redesigning my name |

Subject: Lyr Add: FLOS DE RADICE JESSE (Latin hymn) From: Haruo Date: 01 Sep 02 - 02:25 AM Thanks, Masato. I went ahead and downloaded SmartViewer (actually, I downloaded it to the church's computer without telling them) and sure enough, there it is, words and music both just the way M. Praetorius wrote it in the Book of Isaiah, under contract to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ponce, PR. ;-) I'll put it in my online hymnal sometime before Advent. For those who may care, here's the text: FLOS DE RADICE JESSE (A Flower from Jesse's Root)
