JEFFERSON/SPENCER/ANDERSON Counties and surrounding areas...

Lakeside Community Church is seeking musicians for its praise and worship band.

1) You NEED NOT be a Christian to join.

2) Any and all instruments (acoustic and electric) and vocalists wanted and needed.

3) We play a hybrid of rock/blues/folk/jazz/world and ballad styles.

4) NO restrictions on things like smoking, dress code, hair length, etc.

5) Singles and families of all stripes (incuding "rainbow") are welcome and accepted.

6) Childcare and youth programs are available.

Hi, I'm in Louisville, and play in that general range--but I don't get out much, have limited time, and am mainly interested in playing stuff for kids, families. I can think of some other people I could send your way, unless you are them.

What kind of time commitment are you looking for? I know some young guitar players who'd like to find a spot to play out more.

Fred,

1) Saturday rehearsals from @6:30 to 10ish p.m.

2) Sunday service is from 8 am (setup) to 1:00 pm (service from 10:30-around noon, then breakdown of gear)

Any other time invested will be on a "special" or non-regular basis. Saturday and Sunday totalling about 8-10 hours is all we ask (besides a willingness to play your very best every time out!)
