Subject: RE: FSGW Getaway 2002 From: Bill D Date: 25 Oct 02 - 12:42 PM so...6 million people were supposed to sit at home for 3 weeks? If you were scared to go out, fine...sit...but panicky postings do NOTHING to help! Fear can be a useful thing when you know exactly what to avoid, but that kind of fear is counter-productive and debilitating. If "too scared" has ever been to the Getaway before, they would know my wife, Ferrara, is never 'vindictive' about anything. She was VERY uneasy about that sniper, especially since 6 of the incidents were withing 5 minutes of our house! but she had enought common sense to know that trip up to Darlington was 99.999% safe and that bad drivers were a FAR greater threat! Grow up...and if you want to debate it in person , I'll bet you can find me. color me royally pissed off! |
Subject: RE: FSGW Getaway 2002 From: Jeri Date: 25 Oct 02 - 01:14 PM Bill, it's not about the supposed subject, it's a troll. Trolls find something that will honk people off. Ridiculous things work better. Things that make I'd bet the troll has never been to a Getaway, may know the location or be able to find it if he had a map of the US, but the facts don't make for a good troll - deliberate misinformation does. He's poking you for no other reason than to see you jump. It's someone who enjoys being cruel. That's ALL it is. |
