I'll make an exception this time.

Happy Birthday, eh? Totally decent, man! Cool! Rock on!

Dearest Bro -- I'm SO GLAD that you made it through those first perilous few weeks, and the doctor who thought your were DOA turned out to be WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Other than that I won't disclose any family secrets -- except that by 1963 you had thoroughly mastered the fine art of getting into trouble (could have charged admission and given lessons), and had even put in a few years on learning the guitar!

mucho hugs, little sister

I have never thought wrinkles worth counting, amigo -- I consider them badges of honor and I wear them with pride, but I ciollect them in batches!

Besides, my own wrinkles are produced by much grinning and laughing and I am too busy manufacturing them to count!!

Deda: Never mind all that!! I didn't inhale. Except when I did.

Mucho hugs back atcha!!

Love,

grinning A

To the tune of My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, in C (and that's concert tuning...)

Today is Amos's birthday
He's a Virgo, that's a very good sign
Tho I've only just made his acquaintance
I hope to know him for a very long time.

Chorus:

Hap...py Birth...day
To you, dear Amos, to you, to you
Hap..py Birth..day
To you, dear Amos, to you

I know that you're very good company
Your playing and singing is more than just fine
You're really one hell of a fella
And as mellow as a well-aged red wine.

Chorus:

Your horoscope advises you reach out
And ask for a hug on this day.
So you wont have to ask, I am offering,
And a big Birthday hug's on the way

Clink!

Nancy

It's kinda like estimating the distance to those heatwaves coming off the blacktop, ya know -- these guys are guessing wildly.

I was eighteen, living on the hoof in San Francisco, the winter JFK got taken out.

Have another dram on me, then, and here's to longevity for us all!! And thank you kindly!

You owe me chocolate? Hmm, how did I let YOU get away?

Seems to be the time of year - a work colleague celebrates his tomorrow (well, later today, it's 2.50am in the UK as I type), so plenty of Virgos to keep things in order!

Take care, hope the day was fun.

Whoaaaa, I've been Offline lately & missed this! Well, albeit belatedly, Happy Birthday to be sure to be SURE, Amos my recently-found Mudfriend! & manymanymany more!

In the summer of our lifetimes, the skies were always blue,
We'd weave our dreams with noble thoughts and dreams could all come true,
*Believe in all your youthful dreams, and they'll live on for you,*
When the grey October clouds go drifting by.

Pooka:

How beautiful!! Thanks a ton! And it isn't belated out here on the Left Coast!

We remember the past because we have put it on automatic --Those remembering machines keep all the correct amounts of blackness in place and the pictures well-filed! :>) And if we were completely free we would create endless futures, pasts and presents with equal abandon.

That of course would be much too upsetting for most people to live with!!

The reason we don't remember the future is because we like to pretend we haven't created it, and it will surprise us -- again, automatically .

No reason not to practice increasing your powers of creation on both fronts!
