Subject: The Roches: 'Anyway' From: saulgoldie Date: 15 Sep 02 - 08:42 AM Sorry if this is already somewhere else in the Mudcat files and I could not find it. The song talks about the frustration of being yourself and doing what you know is right and good in the face of overwhelming evil, stupidity, and apathy and tells us to "do it, anyway." TIA to whomever. Sorry for not finding the appropriate thread if it do exist. (I heard this song, curiously enough, on NPR's "The Infinite Mind" which is, BTW a very interesting show. They delve into many issues that, from the posts here, I would imagine are of great interest to many 'Catters.) Saul |

Subject: Lyr Add: ANYWAY (Suzzy & Maggie Roche) From: saulgoldie Date: 15 Sep 02 - 09:18 AM A little more persistance is all it took. MAN the Internet is FABULOUS! Google ROCKS!!! They are based on an original piece called "THE PARADOXICAL COMMANDMENTS" by Kent M. Keith. Since I mentioned it, here are those lyrics:
