What can I say Bouys and Gals - this is the latest CD release from Cara. It is blend of traditional and origional tunes and songs and it is quite frankly wonderful (yes I know that I know the band but that wouldn't stop me from being objective).

The combination of tunes and songs is tasteful in the extreme from jolly rigs and jeels to waltzes and airs - some of which are composed by band members- and are guaranteed to get you going in one way or another. The singing of Mike Ryan is exceptional, his origional songs should strike a note with all of us especially 21st century man. The fiddle playing of oakly is superb and John Rawlings guitar playing completes the sound and sets superb rythms and counter point. Mikes whistle and pipe playing are also excellent.

Just to show ho wbroad their range is the end the CD with a brilliantly evocative Russian Miltary Waltz played on mandolins and guitar - truly inspired.

So bouys and gals what are you awaiting for get in touch with Oakly and but your copy now! Cheers John
