I might be adding this a little too late in the day, but here is the info as posted on thesession.org:Click here

quote... "There are auditions in the Adair Arms Hotel, Ballymena tonight, 27th Sept., from 7 to 9pm for EXTRAS for a new feature film. The film is to be called 'The Great Ceili Wars' & filming is to take place, from Oct. 18th to Dec. 6th, in Belfast, the Isle of Man & on Glenarm Estate, Co. Antrim, where they will be creating a Fleadh Village from around 1971.

They are looking for musicians of all ages, from the very young to the very old - OK, yes I fit into the latter category. If your interested, get along tae Ballymena hey, tonight - & good luck.

For any of you, who fancy yourselves as actors as well, there are auditions for a few minor roles, in Belfast tomorrow, Sat. 28th, in St. Thomas Parish Hall, 138 - 140 Lisburn Road, Belfast, from 11am to 4.30pm. They are looking for Fiddle, Flute, Piano, Pipes, Drummers & Piano Accordion players. You should of course take your instruments with you - there will be a Piano on site.

The film's Director is John Irvin, & the casting agency worked on such films as, 'The Commitments', 'Waking Ned' & 'Lord of the Rings'." - end quote

Very interesting, but it was already 11.05pm in Ballymena when you posted this, Alice... :0)

The Saturday auditions will be interesting for those in the neighbourhood. If I was nearer I think I'd have gone along. Good luck to anyone going!

Film sounds interesting, I'll listen out for it, thanks, Alice.
