Going Up The Ace was a song about past glories. But a year ago the Ace Cafe London reopened after being closed in 1969.

Back in its heyday (60's) I actually went & parked my dads scooter on the forecourt, as my bike was temporarily off road. Nothing happened to it. It was too old fashioned to be worth the bother, I guess.

A friend of mine blessed it when it was re-opened.... he's mad as a bag of snakes and was filmed doing it... it was on TV (UK, late night prog about vicars) last week....
