Subject: Happy Birthday to the Ace Cafe From: The Shambles Date: 29 Sep 02 - 06:03 AM Going Up The Ace was a song about past glories. But a year ago the Ace Cafe London reopened after being closed in 1969. Things have changed, maybe it should have remained a memory? They now let SCOOTERS in!!!!!!

Subject: RE: Happy Birthday to the Ace Cafe From: Dead Horse Date: 29 Sep 02 - 11:16 AM Back in its heyday (60's) I actually went & parked my dads scooter on the forecourt, as my bike was temporarily off road. Nothing happened to it. It was too old fashioned to be worth the bother, I guess. |
