Well, I for(e) one was happy to see the Europeans outplay the Americans. I wonder if the American Express Championship is still more important to Mr. Woods than the Ryder Cup?

I didn't see todays matches, but I'm pretty certain that the Europeans were much better behaved in victory than the Americans were in '99.

I tried playing golf once. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get all those funny looking sticks in tune.

yup, Bee-Dub, tuning can be a problem. Once you get it figgered out though, you should note that much golf music is in fore/fore swing time. And many golf songs have a hook.

Well I, for one, do not rejoice that the Europeans won the Ryder Cup back, but I congratulate them for doing so. They played better than the U. S. did.

It doesn't surprise me to read your message, though, Steve, I don't recall you ever posting a message that was approving of anything related to the U. S. Perhaps I missed it though. Have you?

DougR

Well DougR,

I don't know if I have or not. I would expect that over the years I have, but I'm not going to go check every thread.

If you have to search to find out, then I suppose I was correct. No matter. You're right, it certainly is not worth a search.

Steve, I have to agree the US were like spoiled kids in previous Ryder Cups, the Europeans showed them on Sunday how true sportsmen act when they win.
And of course it was an Irishman who finished them off, ihis is getting to be a tradition. Ard Mhacha.
