Slide it up so you are playing an A (5th fret) down 1 fret BUT make it a G#m, slide down 2 frets and then back up to G#m A G#m I'm John The Bapist this is my friend Salome F#m G#m You can bet it's my head she wants not my heart only A G#m If you see me smiling and you wonder why F#m G#m You can bet it's a private joke between her and I A E A E And it's all right and it's all right On the second it's all righ you can do a repeat of the verse shift - A G#m F#m E A G#m F#m E E 0 0 0 0 B 0 0 0 0 G 6 4 2 1 D 7 6 4 2 A 7 6 4 2 E 0 0 0 0 |
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: John the Baptist (John Martyn) From: GUEST,The Royernater Date: 20 Jan 09 - 02:05 AM I'm not home at the min' but I'll try that later. It did not sound in the right key when singing. I've never been able to get it right myself. I wonder what tunning John is using? The soung sounds like it has a bit more bass/lower then the standard tuning gives. It somthing to think about, I suppose. :P Later. |
