I'm not sure whether this counts as BS or not. Its not strictly folk songy, but is somewhat related, and I hope you can help me. I am doing a project for an English class for which I was wondering if anyone has any information about the English Country Dance called Knole Park. Especially, does anyone know if the name refers to the Knole House which was owned by Lady Anne Clifford, and later, denied to Virginia Woolf's friend Vita Sackville-West? Any other information any of you wonderful mudcatters has about other english country dances and connections to literature would be great too. thanks a lot. Emily
