This rather amazing video of the acapella group Loituma (singing "Ievan Polkka") has subtitles. You'd probably need them even if you spoke Finnish.

Thank you Ireland.Tried the Finnish Page but the English version is still under constuction. AS for down loading ,no need, for I have the music .It simply would make it more interesting to know the words.

When I first read the title of the thread, I wasn't sure if "Finn" was for "Finnish" or if it was the Irish last name. :) Well, If you are looking for Finnish Folk songs, why not try the Finnish Folk Music Association? I don't know if they'll have all that you're looking for, but here's their web address:

Hi I don't know if this site will have what you want but it's a great site anyway, with lots of tunes from all over the world. Unfortunately the tunes have to be downloaded rather than being played from the site.

Would like to find a source to words of Finnish songs , Such as: Orphan Boy Waltz,'Snuff Polka or Ramblers Waltz.etc I play in excess of 50 Finn songs On the button box but do not know any words to any of them. JT
