I am REALLY glad this thing is going again and what a crowd of Santa's!!!! Anyway, it was my lovely wife that ran things for us last year and it was a blast! I just PM'd CatsPHiddle in hopes that I am not too late..... :( I fear I may be.....I haven't been a regular around here for a while, with work and lots of other things keeping me away from from my computer....oh well, maybe I can sneak in there at the last minute......I STILL listen to the CD I got last year!!!! It's awesome!!!!

I've refreshed this thread because I'm searching for clues now as to who my Secret Santa is. I have a real name but not a Mudcat name. Mary S from Portland, Maine. (I know her surname but Internet etiquette prevents me from writing it here.)

I am really amazed that my Secret Santa parcel arrived today. It only took 10 days. Wow!

Lots of purple wrapped prezzies - which I haven't opened and I have STRICT instructions not to open them until Christmas. I *had* to open the box because Oz Quarantine had inspected it and I *had* to make sure that everything was ship-shape.

Mary has obviously taken pity on a poor woman whose attitide to presents is not unlike the "seafood diet", i.e. "see food and eat it".

[When my sister and I were kids she could keep her Easter eggs for a whole week just taking one little nibble once a day until they were all gone. Mine were all gone in about 10 minutes.]

Mary has included a newspaper and a magazine for me to keep busy with while waiting for Christmas Day to roll around. Slowly.

I've just found out the answer. How is that for speedy detective work. I just looked at the "Morticia's got troubles" thread - the first and only other thread I have looked at in this session since going to the post office and getting my present - and there, among only 7 postings was one from a Mary in Portland. Sinsull.
