Subject: Looking for Canadian online music store From: GUEST,Marion Date: 17 Oct 02 - 02:52 PM Hi all. I was looking at the websites for Elderly Instruments, Musician's Friend, and American Musical Supply, all of which carry a wide variety of stuff and sell them online. Is there an equivalent Canadian site? Thanks, Marion |
Subject: RE: Looking for Canadian online music store From: GUEST Date: 17 Oct 02 - 05:28 PM Don't know, but if you put "musical instruments, Canada" in Google, tons of sites come up. www.musiccentrecanada.com has listings, but I didn't check any category to see if they are useful. |

Subject: RE: Looking for Canadian online music store From: Devilmaster Date: 18 Oct 02 - 03:43 AM Well Marion, here are a couple: Ottawa Folklore Centre Long And McQuade Music - chain Perhaps another idea to try would be go to the Canadian Yellow Pages and just do a search under musical instrument dealers in major cities. If the store has a website, it will show in the results. Hope it gets you started on what you need. Steve |
Subject: RE: Looking for Canadian online music store From: gnu Date: 18 Oct 02 - 04:54 AM I buy at the Moncton outlet of http://www.musicstop.ca/. Their Halifax operation is full of great stuff and they "trade". They will also ship to their outlying stores for free if these stores don't have what you want in stock. |
Subject: RE: Looking for Canadian online music store From: sian, west wales Date: 18 Oct 02 - 04:56 AM It isn't like Elderly, but I bought a 12-string Seagull from 12th Fret in Toronto, having first found them online, then checked with Rick Fielding to make sure they were bona fide. Had great service from them. sian |
