The radio jingles thread brings me to think of boyhood radio dramas.
How we hung on every word of Jack Armstrong, Sky King, The Lone Ranger.A few years later there was a short-lived show called "Bobby Benson and the B bar B riders. I loved it, altho I can't remember one plot or ephisode. Dates: like 1946-1950. Correct me if you can.
Remember the Lone Ranger flashlight ring? My brother and I got it in the mail. It was one of the happiest day of my life. Comments?

Let's not forget "Sgt. Preston of the Yukon."
"ON KING! ON YOU HUSKIES!"

The Shadow Knows, Gangbusters, Sky King, Green Hornet, Lone Ranger,
Inner Sanctum, Ah yes, I remember them well. Beeny and Cecil? Red Ryder? Those were the glory days. Ever watch Wonder Years?

Remember "Straight Arrow" sponsored by Nabisco Shredded Wheat? I can hear the drum-beat cadence that opened the show now: "N-A-B-I-S-C-O, Nabisco is the Name to Know. For a Breakfast you Can't Beat, Eat Nabisco Shreaded Wheat!!"

We had an earlier thread on Bobby Benson in the Big Bend country of Texas. Come to think of it, I think I started it...
