That link changed quickly! When I linked it was still the preliminary startlist and Michaele was listed as No. 12. The other thing that has changed from preliminary to now is that all competitors with a higher entry total are missing now.

Don't expect any medals at this one, she'll do well to lift 85 and 107, anymore will be a bonus althoughnhe combined best is 202.
Thanks for joining in she'll be surprised at the interest, please keep me posted as she wont ring me till afterwards.I think shes on tomorrow -Wed-but I dont know when.
She had to shed 4 kilos in body weight to make the 58 k category.

I think I missed her, its the next class on now. The commentators on Eurosport refered to Michaela Breeze a few minutes ago saying she competed in the B list which I have just looked on the timetable and it said that took place at 12.00. They said she did well but I assume they will have to wait for the A list to compete before she will know her overall position. The A final is at 8.00 pm according to the commentators. Cant find any results yet on the website. You heard anything yet Breezy?

I only read the 48 kg results yet. Not surprising was that Ms. Wang (yes, China, what else?) did win. However, that she did so with twelve new world records did surprise me because I thought that was more than theoretically possible. When I looked closely I saw I was wrong. It is possible.

There are 11 women in the A list final, seven of them are only between 2.5 and 5 kg ahead of Michaela in the pre tournament rankings so if she has a good day she could get well into the top 10! If you ignore the Chinese lifter (for obvious reasons!!) then that gives her a medal shot! However I still cannot find a result for the "B" list so I have no idea how she placed in that group. Frustrating!!

I think Wolfgang is correct and they only post results when both lists have competed and the overall standings can be worked out. Thec ommentators this afternoon definatly refered to Michaela as having lifted earlier on in the afternoon so I think she will now have done what she can and it is now up to the A list lifters as to where she is ultimatly placed. Unfortunatly it is not live on Eurosport this evening so we will have to wait for the results to be posted on the official site!

Result: 4th in the snatch with 92 k, 6th in the clean and jerk 112 overall position =5th with a total of 205 a new British Record

Fan-bloody-tastic!! As far as most people in the world are concerned she deserves at least the Bronze in the snatch, (if you discount you know who from you know where!) Wish I could have been online to share the moment. I knew those commentators were excited about something but dare not get your hopes up cos I only caught a snatch of the commentry.

Huge congratulations to Michaela and keep that grin on your face till you see her! Who said folkies dont like sports!
