Anyone remember Bob Grossman, who recorded for Elektra 40 years ago? There's a profile of him in today's (Nov. 20, 2002) Detroit Free Press, www.freep.com. Short answer: He's been an actor for the last 30 years.

I saw him in LA back when I was in university. I have the first album he mentioned in that article. It was released by Eureka Records and has a logo of a flute player. Both the name and logo were, I am sure, meant to bring Elektra Records to mind. Anyway, it is good to know that he is well and doing well.

BTW does anybody out there, who may have been in Los Angeles in the '60s, know what happened to to folk jockey, record producer, Les Claypool Jr. He wrote the liner notes on Grossman's album.
