Anyone visiting Worcester's Christmas Fair on Saturday 30th November should come and listen to Vital Spark singing West Gallery Christmas Carols in the marquee on the corner of Angel Place/Broad Street. There will be two half hour spots at 1.30 p.m. and 3.15 p.m.

To save me posting twice, try This Link to another thread. One of the best known tunes that was originally a West Gallery carol is "Ilkley Moor B'aht 'at" which was written by Thomas Clark of Canterbury, and used for "While Shepherds Watched". You can find a MIDI of the original 4-part setting HERE.
