I hope it's ok to post this - should be, because Beverley is a good 9 miles north of Hull9. Anyway, Cara kicks off at the Sun this evening at 9ish. If you want to finish the weekend in the hands of the complempletive yet spirited trio9 or if you want to return to your loved ones broudly brandishing your very own copy of Asleep Behind the Settee, it would be great to see you9.

I think we will be showing our facers a bit latter. May even have harp with us just for a jolly with the pipes (in private of course) And Dave, got to hand it to you mate, you seem to have blown chrisy's mind with your heartfelt fiddle playing. She is tiping you to play some solo stuff at our wedding! PS, is there any truth in the rumour going about that you are forming another trio comprising, yourself, JfH, and Mandolin Mally?? I sujest ODDSOCKS as a good name. any advances?

Harpmaker; jOhn, Mandolin Malcolm and I have been working hard on a mandolin trio ensemble that will emerge as "The Mandolin9". It will be a great pleasure to play at the wedding. Can we fix the fee at one UK grin, or f*uck all pounds stirling?

BTW, Oakley insisted that I shamelessly promote Cara and the highly successful gig they did on Sunday at the Sun. Why I should want to do that I have no idea, there was no offer of bear9 or sexual favours from the non-existant female members of the band!

Perhaps the fact that there was lots of clapping and the audience wanted more, even when the lights had been turned out and the landlord was stood there in his pyjamas! Nuf said!!! (Oh, and John the Guitar got a groopie!)
