Just came across this information at the unofficial Clannad website:

Tory Island off the coast of Donegal is famed for the strong tradition of singing which continues to be vibrant, integral part of the island's culture. This tradition is the subject of a new book by Lillis Ó Laoire, highly respected sean-nós singer and former winner of Corn Ui Riada, entitled Ar Chreag i Lár na Farraige, just published by Cló lar-Chonnachta. This unique book provides wonderful insights into the singing tradition of Tory, and is essential reading for those with an interest in singing and music in general. For further information on this book, contact CIC at 091-593-307 (Ireland).

Sorry, I meant to include their website:

One of the best sources online for those interested in Irish Gaelic music and books.

The book I've seen is more a treatise than a songbook and it is in Irish. I heard that a CD is to be issued with songs connected with the book.

It is more a treatise, but if you can understand Irish, it is an extremely valuable piece of work. No one knows more about Donegal sean nos that Lillis--he da man!

Are people not interested in Irish language sources for material here?
