Subject: Tech: Selecting a Mudcat Napster Clone From: *#1 PEASANT* Date: 25 Nov 02 - 06:18 PM Even when Nappster was operating I thought it would be good to have more folk stuff although there was a lot of it available. One way to maximize the folk content available for sharing would be to recommend that a community interested in folk music utilize the same program. So....having tested it out today and found it to be wonderful.... I would recommend that mudcat folk adopt KAZAA lite It is freely downloadable free to use works very well with a good number of participants... if everyone involved with the mudcat community joined and shared all their folk files....we would have a great pool of resources. click there to go for the program and join in. Remember to put your files into the appropriate shared directory! http://doa2.host.sk/ Should be fun! Conrad Link changed to a simple URL. Go to the listed site at your own risk. It has bothersome popups. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: Tech: Selecting a Mudcat Napster Clone From: Big Mick Date: 25 Nov 02 - 09:01 PM I would recommend that you crawl back in your hole, and that Mudcatters not steal others property. Rather, they should support Folk Legacy (Caroline and Sandy Paton) and Camsco (Dick Greenhaus) instead of being thieves. Mick |
